Early Wheel Horses used Clinton and Kohler engines in the US, but in Europe these were predominantly Kohler engines with the exception of a few early models using Tecumseh, and later models using Briggs and Stratton.

K Series parts are still easy to find, almost all components can be purchased in the UK or from the US. The same can be said for Briggs and Stratton as these were very common engines used on many other garden tractors in Europe.

Tecumseh spare parts can be very difficult due to the sheer number of iterations made to a design year after year. Many parts appear obsolete and out of stock, but with determination up to date parts can be found that fit perfectly.
